Green hydrogen is usually defined as hydrogen that is generated entirely by renewable energy such as solar and wind and can also be produced by electrolysis of water with electricity generated by low-carbon power sources. Hydrogen fuel can be used as a “clean transportation fuel” for fuel cells or internal combustion engines in automobiles, trucks, shipping and aviation.
